Odin's Paladin (2013-04)

I'm not sure if he'd like for me to call him my "muse", but Sebastian has been proactively providing me with some great inspiration for the past while. In this painting, I digitally combined oils and chalk. It was based on a dark silhouette photo that was exposed to really just show the sky and the outline of his form. The piece is called "Odin's Paladin" because the backstory for the character is that he is forcing light into the world of Chaos. The visual disturbances emanating as waves from him are part of the battle.
